(Yes. I know it’s not the 5th anymore, but I was out for the day and night.)

Some serious bearded banter between Sonny and Jimmy Niggles aboard the luxurious True North boat (can you call it a boat, or is it a ship? It has a helicopter on it….).

Jimmy was explaining Beard Season to Sonny, which is all about growing beards to raise awareness for getting regular skin check-ups. Pretty timely considering we had our skin cancer check-up booked in for today! Spot count on me was an uncomfortable six, but better to find them and freeze them, than to not.

We were invited to cruise on a rainy and cold Sydney Harbour as guests of Tourism WA, and despite the weather (and the obvious contrast to it’s usual travel itinerary of the Kimberly, and such), it was pretty lovely. Spoiled with some delicious WA nibbles and drinks, some good stories, and visions of the coastline, it made me pretty keen to get back there soon.
